Svetlana Kuznetsova Svetlana Kuznetsova is a Russian tennis player and has won many women’s singles including the one that was held in June 6 in 2006. Other singles that she has won so far were played in the US in the year 2004 meaning she’s very talented as far as tennis is concerned. She is energetic and that is attributed to her young age since she born in 1985 at Saint Petersburg in Russia. She now resides somewhere in the island monarchy of Monte Carlo, Monaco where she no doubt enjoys herself to the fullest. Her success, she says, is attributed to the passion she has and the numerous practice sessions she undergoes. She adds without hard work one is destined to reach no further than most and any potential tennis player should note that.

Individuals who have had a chance to watch her play can attest that she is a strong contender who is ready to do anything especially when she’s on a competition tournament. Whenever she’s on a tournament, the turn over is considerably high as compared to others when she isn’t. Svetlana Kuznetsova is a role model to many aspiring tennis players from the old to the young, looking up to her. Svetlana Kuznetsova’s career began in the year 2000, when she joined the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). This association helped her so much and in the same year she won her first title taking home with her Bali and Helsinki at some of her tour stops. This was a great breakthrough for her and her competitors were left speechless following that win. Everyone was for her saying that she deserved it as it was the best game played for a very long time. Svetlana Kuznetsova in general, took the women’s tennis game to the next level, a level that many were unable to reach.

In 2003 she reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and was the runners up in the US double tournament. She reached the seventh place in September that was in the double rankings, the same year. Svetlana Kuznetsova also participated in the Summer Olympics in 2004 where she was eliminated in the semifinals. The reason for the elimination was not known though that did not deter her from future tournaments. She later went to the US Open in 2004 where she was ranked fifth on the singles chart category towards the end of the season. She has met a lot of ups and downs through out her tennis career but is still going strong.
