Svetlana Kuznetsova is one of the best Russian female tennis players. Svetlana Kuznetsova has appeared in four singles Grand Slam finals, winning two of them, and has also appeared in seven doubles finals, winning twice. Her first Grand Slam title came at the 2004 US Open, making her the third Russian woman to win a Grand Slam title, after Anastasia Myskina and Maria Sharapova. Svetlana Kuznetsova was born in St. Petersburg, June 27, 1985, and ever since she was little, she passionately worked hard and invested all her time, in order to be the best in tennis.

Svetlana Kuznetsova is an all-round tennis player. She is noted for her great speed on court and her strong forehand with a lot of topspin. Svetlana Kuznetsova is capable of producing effective volley winner providing an agile touch. However, Svetlana Kuznetsova is known for her unpredictability and inconsistency. Be that as it may, she is still able to face the best adversaries and leave a good impression. That is one of the reasons she has won so many titles so far. Nevertheless, she does not sleep on it and she is always trying to improve her tennis skills even more.

As with any other game, tennis requires a lot of hard work and sacrifice, and we can say that Svetlana Kuznetsova sacrificed her career for the sake of being number one in tennis. Surely, in tennis, she won some, she lost some, but Svetlana Kuznetsova always knew what to learn from the defeats, thus becoming more ambitious. Svetlana Kuznetsova is one those particular tennis players who understands that in order to succeed, one needs to be very disciplined, to put in a lot of effort, work and discipline. With a bit of luck, we will still be hearing from Svetlana Kuznetsova, as she has a lot to show and offer the tennis world. She does some pretty amazing things with the racquet and the balls, while she makes her way to the top rankings.

Svetlana Kuznetsova, a Russian tennis player, convinced the entire world that she is talented indeed. She won the 200 French Tournament and the US Open that took place in 2004. Born in 1985 at Saint Petersburg, Russia, Svetlana Kuznetsova loved tennis even since she was little and almost all her life was dedicated to this sport. As it is not easy at all to come to such an amazing performance, Svetlana Kuznetsova worked a lot and invested her time in tennis, although she could do things as all young people.

Her passion was though too strong, so she continued doing what she liked most: tennis. I had the opportunity to go to a match where she played. I was a great fan of her and when it was my birthday, my father bought me a ticket as a gift. I was very surprised and very happy that I could watch Svetlana Kuznetsova, my favorite female tennis player in an important game. I understand now why many people who love different types of sports prefer only live experiences as things are totally different and you have a better idea about what is really happening during the game. I could also watch very well every move and technique that Svetlana Kuznetsova used. So, I was very glad that I had this chance. It was easier for me this way to understand better how and why she uses certain tennis playing techniques and the way she focuses, trying to anticipate the next moves of her opponent.

Svetlana Kuznetsova does not care too much about being defeated because she finds it as a challenge and it is another opportunity for her to prove herself that she can improve her playing tennis techniques and that it also means she has to work harder to have better results. Svetlana Kuznetsova is also a very good looking woman with a nice body and she is always in shape. Men are crazy about her and her attitude, too. Svetlana Kuznetsova is a young tennis player, but very successful for her age as she managed to win important games until this age.

Russia is a country which is renown for her award-winning athletes and beautiful women. The Russian tennis players combine both sport-performance and beauty. Here are some of Russia’s most famous female tennis players.

Svetlana Kuznetsova was born on June 27, 1985, in Saint Petersburg and she is ranked world’s no. 5. Among her multiple prizes, winning the 2004 US Open and the 2009 French Open are worth mentioning. She is an all-round player, capable to adapt her game to any surface, but she can also be unpredictable. Great speed and strong forehand are some of Svetlana’s strenghts.

Anna Kournikova is one of the most beautiful women in the world and the is known more for her tumultuous life than for her tennis performance. Born on June 7 1981, her maximum was reached in 2000, when she was ranked world’s number 8. Her career was then put on the side line because of some back problems and possibly even ended. However, she became famous due to her beauty and she signed many publicity contracts.

Maria Sharapova is as beautiful as Anna, but much more talented. She is world’s no. 1 and she won 24 WTA singles titles. Born on April 19, 2007, she made her tennis debut at the age of 17 and she soon became an international star. Her beauty brought her successful aid campaigns and publicity contracts. Besides her beauty and talent, Maria is also known for her philanthropic actions. In June 2011, she was named one of the “30 Legends of Women’s Tennis: Past, Present and Future” by Time Magazine.

The 2011 Internazionali d’Italia is worth just over two million dollars in prize money. Unfortunately, Svetlana Kuznetsova won’t be adding this to her career earnings of over fifteen million dollars.

Kuznetsova was unable to make it past the first round of the event. Her loss came at the hands of Greta Arn. While the match lasted for over three hours, Kuznetsova simply couldn’t pull out a victory on the court’s red clay.

Spring of 2011 Not a Highlight for Svetlana’s Career

Her loss to Arn comes just weeks after she was knocked out of the Madrid Open. Kuznetsova’s Madrid Open loss also came during the first round of the event. This loss was administered to her by Dominika Cibulkova. Cibulkova went on to beat Agnes Szavay and Maria Sharapova before losing to Petra Kvitova. Kvitova then won the event by defeating Victoria Azarenka.

2011 Began on Rocky Ground Despite One High Point for Kuznetsova

2011 did not begin the way Svetlana likely envisioned in her mind. In January, she competed in the ASB Classic. She defeated Sacha Jones in the opening round. She then lost to China’s Peng Shuai. Shuai won the next round against Heather Watson but then lost to the event’s runner-up, Yanina Wickmayer.

January also saw Svetlana take part in the Medibank International. Kuznetsova began this Sydney event against Virginie Razzano. Unfortunately, this matched her all too common 2011 trend of losing in the first round.

The high point of the year’s first quarter came when she came in as the runner-up of the Dubai Tennis Championships. She reached this point by defeating Nuria Llagostera Vives, Tsvetana Pironkova, Francesca Schiavone, Agnieszka Radwanska and Flavia Pennetta. Her winning streak came to an end when she faced Caroline Wozniacki in the final.

During the 2010 China Olympics there were some serious action packed plays in all sports however the tennis is one which many people take notice of because it is a very universal sport around the world. Svetlana Kuznetsova was challenged by many players in the Grand Slam event which took her up against the worlds very best which just goes to say that she is one of this group competing against. Potentially playing against the likes of champion Maria Sharapova and Australian player Samantha Stosur, Svetlana had a lot of tough competition.

Unfortunately she did not get to be the champion of this particular event when she was defeated by Roberta Vinci. A controversial act of walking off the court was played up by the newspapers and other media however there where some tough referee calls which did upset Svetlana Kuznetsova. This match itself would have been the media focus however they chose to write their stories on the way that Svetlana left which looked as if she was being a bad sport.

In 2004 Svetlana Kuznetsova won a Grand Slam single title in the women’s tour which helped to prove the dominance of the sport by Russian players. Unfortunately Svetlana has had a few injuries which has kept her from playing in a few of the more important matches of her career though her come back into the sport of tennis was one which proved that strong players can move through the pain and get back into the swing of things with the right attitude.

Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova and German Andrea Petkovic are two of the most popular tennis players in the world. The women’s singles match of the second round was held in Paris, France, between these two lovely ladies May 26, 2010.

Going into the match, defending Champion Svetlana was 6th in the Singles rankings and 91st in the Doubles rankings while her 22-year-old opponent Andrea was 41st in the Singles and 86th in the Doubles. Both are right handed tennis players.

In the first round of the women’s singles match, both women defeated their opponents. Svetlana defeated opponent Sorona Cirstea 6,3 and 6,1 while Andrea defeated opponent Elena Vesnina 4-6, 6-1, and 6-4.

In the second round of the singles match, Svetlana Kuznetsova was able to defeat Andrea Petkovic to continue on in the French Open and knock Andrea out. The match was quite the entertainment and all three games were very close. Andrea was so close to knocking the defending champion out of the 2010 French Open but in the end, Svetlana was able to keep track of her game and defeated Petkovic with match totals of 4-6, 7-5, and 6-4.

Svetlana Kuznetsova went on to the third round for the singles in the French Open where her luck finally came to a halt. She was defeated by Maria Kirlenko 6-3, 2-6, and 6-4. Svetlana claimed she gave the match everything she could but it wasn’t enough and that she didn’t play her best game. She was unable to defend her French Open title this year, but there is always next year.
